Quarry Hunslet in 009: satin finish...

I have finished lining the Hunslet this evening, and now sprayed a coat of Testor's Dull-cote...
This leaves the model with a protective finish, reducing the risk of chipping the paint off the edges, and also a love soft sheen.
The former 'gloss' surfaces have a nice satin look, whilst the matt surfaces of the smokebox, roof and footplate remain matt - it's a great product, goes on easily from a spray can and dries really quickly too... thoroughly recommend it!
So what next? Some gentle weathering and some works plates I think - along with a name...
More soon...
