Exhibiting
As a seasoned modeller with previous exhibition experience I am happy to offer my layouts or modelling demonstrations to exhibition managers. Please contact me via the 'Contact Form' in the menu.
Each of these models have appeared extensively on my blog, and a number have featured in the wider modelling press including Railway Modeller, British Railway Modelling, Continental Modeller and Narrow Gauge World. I stand and present from the side of the layout, inviting visitors to engage with the subject and sharing information on their construction, inspiration or prototype, encouraging young and old with their own hobby.

- Weathering
- Kit or structure building
- Track laying, ballasting and weathering
- Scenic layering
- Tree building
- Computer aided design to support scratchbuilding
Contact me to discuss this further, using the contact form on the menu.
Requirements
Box layouts are displayed at table height, great for younger visitors or those using wheelchairs. I am happy to display a range of these at one event to fill a full 6ft table. A table and 2 chairs (for operators) must be provided. No additional barriers required.
Cameo layouts will be displayed at near eye level on decorating trestles that I will provide. At smaller shows no barriers are required, please contact me to discuss larger events.
I am based in North Wales. I have my own vehicle and am happy to travel to day events within a 2 hour travel time of Llangollen. I require my travel expenses covering, plus refreshments. For any two day event, I am happy to travel up to around 4 hours, providing hotel accommodation (a twin room) is provided - but do get in touch if you're further away to discuss.
