Chattenden in 009: bonnet and cab...

Well it does seen rather a while since I did some proper 009 modelling, so what better way to put that right than to start another kit!!

Yes this is the Worsley Works Welshpool and Llanfair Chattenden scratch aid kit that I commissioned fro Allen. So far the bonnet and cab have been formed and the cab door fitted. It has all gone together with the minimum of fuss with my usual simple hand tools, Antex 25w iron, Carrs green flux and 145degC solder.

More soon, I'll also do a bit more on the Vale of Rheidol diesel and I've got a second Schoema to make a start on as well so I see this brave of diesels progressing in parallel.
