Chattenden in 009: cab steps...

Tonight I've fabricated the cab steps on the rear of Chattenden. 

These add the character of the engine and are made out of several parts, and so are very fiddly to assemble. Patience and good design meant the air didn't turn blue.

Once these were made up I rounded the edges of the handrails and then added the cab and bonnet to the footplate. There is a 0.5 gap at the end of the footplate under the cab that I may need to fill but it will be clearer when I fit the buffer beams.
