Bagnall in 009: painting and decorating...
The tiny Bagnall inverted saddle tank I've been building is progressing nicely...
In the past few weeks the detailing was finished, it was primed, painted satin dark green and this evening the matt black and red were added by hand on the footplate, smokebox, cab roof and interior and buffer beams and couplings. I also painted the wheels matt black and the cylinders satin dark green. It is seen here with the O&K and Hunslet Waril. The next stage will be to apply the Fox transfers 0.35 straw lining to the forward panel of the cab and the tanks, oh and figure out what crew to fit as the cab is rather cramped, full of a motor and not much headroom either! More soon...
