Creech Bottom at Great and Small...
I was invited to exhibit the layout at the WHR Great and Small by John Wooden...

It really was a great show - and lovely mix of enthusiasts, modellers and the general public. Apart from being a little quieter later on Saturday afternoon, we had a busy weekend with lots of visitors and plenty of people to talk to - nice to meet friendly faces from the past, and some news acquaintances as well. It was also lovely to hear such kind comments about the layout and my locomotives...

I had a few new items of stock, and it was fun operating the layout for a few days - you won't believe me but I never really got tired of playing with it at all!

BELOW: Brian Madge Ruston with coal at the ball clay mine...
ABOVE: Scratchbuild Andrew Barclay Porthgain did stirling work all weekend.

Despite the less than great lighting I'm quite pleased with how some of these photos have come out - if anyone else has taken any please feel free to post them here, I'd love to see how you viewed the layout. More soon as lots of talk of a follow on to the layout over the weekeend...
