PX48 in 009: cab roof fettling...

I received the Narrow Planet etched number plates for my 4mm PX48 today so despite promising myself that I'd wait until I received the replacement dome and chimney from Paul before I did anymore on this the model came out of it's box.

I had pondered using plastic for a replacement roof but I tried it in 10 thou and I just couldn't get the right angle at the edge so I resorted to a lager can! I think it's quite effective, but I'm worried how good the creases are and I won't be able to tell until it's primed.

I am also a little worried about how delicate the edges might be so will need to treat it carefully when cutting off the dome next week. More soon...
