LKM V10C in 009: etched details fitted...
I mentioned a few weeks ago that I was drawing up some custom artwork for some etched details for the Underground Models LKM V10C. Steve at Narrow Planet turned these into nickel silver for me and they arrived this week...
Itching to get them fitted tonight was the first chance I had to look at them up close and I was impressed with the clean etching. In these photos you should be able to spot a bonnet grill, window surrounds, windscreen wipers and, my favourite bit, the exhaust shroud.

I've now applied a final coat of primer before I start airbrushing on the final paint. The model is going to be a faded East German blue with red frames that have begun to go pink. More soon...
