Kistenfabrik: greyed out...

After finishing carving the plaster a week ago today I finally braved colouring it...

I chose to use Woodland Scenics dye, specifically ashphalt. This was watered down to give a grey with darker tones collecting in the cracks. As a first treatment I'm happy, but will need to work some areas more with enamels and filler. I also want to add some drain covers and ashphalt patches, to break up the setts. Happy so far though...
