Ruston in 009: custom green number 1...

I dug out the airbrush and my selection of Humbrol enamel paints to spray a few models that are ready for finishing. First of the trio is the Brian Madge Ruston diesel.

This is the lightest of the three and aims to capture a faded standard Ruston green. The side frames will be black and the buffer blocks red, and the lot will be dirty and work man like when finished.

Can anyone advise how Ruston painted the inside of their cabs, were they body colour or cream?
