006.5 coupling trials...

With my experiments in 006.5 I needed to look into coupling options and I decided I would try and develop my own small magnetic couplings styled off the Busch H0f concept...

I drew something small in Sketchup and had them printed in Frosted Ultra Detail through Shapeways. They've come out well, and the N50 2mm diameter, 1mm thick magnets fit perfectly. They seem to work in concept (see above) but I've yet to try them on stock - that's the next test - but I've got both the Hunslet and Ruston Proctor to test them on... More soon...
