First rain on the Dyfrdway Tramway...

This week the weather has turned, and we've seen the first of the rain on the Dyfrdwy Tramway here in North Wales...

This has been a welcome relief, it's hard to believe the stretch of heat and sunshine we've had now, nearly 6 weeks of it - but despite the rain I've managed to have the trains out once or twice.

The line looks different in the rain though, as water ponds between the rails in places, and it becomes even harder to tell the difference between modelling and reality.
