Musing over: Chassis started...
At the weekend I wondered how long I would hold out starting the La Meuse kit...
Well not very long it would seem. I dug out my metal working tools, nothing fancy, files, broaches, pliers, snips on my pen knife, tweezers, assorted screw drivers, a knife, 25w soldering iron, flux and 145degC solder.
I soldered the 14ba nuts in position, then added the cosmetic side frames, with plenty of heat and flux after tinning one side first. I then opened up the axle slots a touch.
She runs very well still so I'm going to progress on to the cylinders I think next...
