Romanian Krauss in 009: tanks and boiler...

Well it's starting to look the part now as the boiler and side tanks take shape...

The old pen was hacked about to fit up against the motor block and tank bracing. The tanks were then finished with 20thou plasticard, boxing in up to the boiler. I also cut off the moulding pips on the dome and sandbox to test for these for size. I filed the edge of the dome so the sandbox can fit up against it. It's really starting to look the part. Next I plan to build up the framework under the smoke box... More soon...
