PX48 in 009: Shapeways delivery...

Well superb service from Shapeways, my 3D printed body for the PX48 arrived in less than a week. This is my first foray into the technology and I'm reasonably impressed with the finish...

There is a roughness to the surface but the only layering is really visible on the rear of the tender angled bunker. Offering it up to the Bachmann Consolidation chassis shows I'm going to have to attempt some minor surgery but I'm assured the performance of the Spectrum chassis is superior enough to the Grafar 8F that it will be worth it!
