Romanian Krauss in 009: disc wheels

I fitted the etched brass wheel inserts this evening to the Roco BR80 / Feldbahn chassis.

It has totally transformed the appearance of the model and after a quick spin on the test track I can confirm it was a complete success. I also used some Squadron putty to fill the hole in the smokebox door and around the dome and sandbox. I made a start on the smokebox door by adding the handle but there is a long way to go and plenty of pipe runs to decipher before she is ready for primer. More soon...
