VofR No.10: details details...
As well as packing the bonnet full of lead this evening I also have begun fitting some finer details to the Baguley Drewry diesel.
The filter on the centre of the bonnet is the top of a lantern from an LGB locomotive, quite effective I think. The horn is A1 models mounted on a small piece of plasticard. The exhaust stack is a section of sprue and the lamps are from RT models. The bonnet front handrails were also fitted. I also bent the roof up to shape.
The last few things are the windscreen wipers, buffer beams and a few small electrical cables for the lights. I also need to decide whether to fit the roof now or after painting so I can more easily fit the glazing.
More soon...
