Romanian Krauss in 009: pipework bad fittings...
The Krauss is covered in complicated pipework and levers and it has taken some time to work it all out or at least enough to model it...
I think I'm pretty happy with the tanks and front end now though - the cable ducting is in, the sand actuator, the regulator, the various valves and taps on the dome and boiler. The taps are from a RT models etch. The pipework is all 0.4 and 0.7mm brass wire.
The side with the ducting also has the turbo generator exhaust up the side of the funnel and an unknown pipe that drops to footplate...
The last thing for the boiler is the whistle - this is going to be turned from a section of plastic tube glued to some brass rod but I'll wait for it to firmly dry before attempting that! More soon...
