Romanian Krauss in 009: still more detailing...

Whilst the primer was drying on the PX48 I pushed in with detailing the scratch built Krauss forestry tank. 

Tonight I have fabricated the whistle, this is 0.9mm rod and plastic tube, it's not quite right but is a good approximation. I may try and add the actuator too. I have added the cab steps, these are scraps of brass from an old sprue. 

I also added the handrails to the top of the tanks using a little modeller license in the placement of the knobs to best approximate without over powering the tank sides.

It's really looking good now, cab details next! More soon...
