Jung forestry tank in 009...

Another kit project for Narrow Planet is this 0-8-0t used in Bosnia on various forestry lines...

This was the initial 'proof of concept' model in Sketchup - showing the basic proportions - that was knocked up on about an hour to see how it looked. The model utilises the excellent Minitrains Brigadelok chassis and will be 3D printed with a detail etch in usual NP format. Here is a photo of the prototype in action, excuse the quality, it's a photo of a page in the excellent Bosnia album by Keith Chester.

The Jung (top) and Resita (bottom) show how I'v shrunk the prototype a little to work well on the Brigadelok chassis, as in reality, a 760mm gauge 8 coupled loco would probably have been a little larger but with no drawings or dimensions to work with, I've based it on guestimates and the Brigadelok itself.

Finally you can see the mock up - showing how it will fit nicely on to the chassis with no modifications! I'm ordering a test print and etch this week - more soon...
