Musing over: details...

As I said last time, the La Meuse is now beyond soldering as I add the final details...

This evening focused upon the various pipework and rodding on top of the boiler, as well as couplings and the small valves either side of the smokebox.

The couplings are RT models 'Harrogate' ones with the top and bottom cut down smooth, distinctly more European in outline then - and nice and weighty. The details were done with various sections of styrene and brass wire - and have transformed the model again. Next up is adding the detailing within the cab on the back head - and adding the coal/ / briquette bunker. More soon...
