Hudson Hunslet diesel in 009...

I picked up my model of the Hudson Hunslet diesel from Mark Greenwood at ExpoNG. This was the first Narrow Planet kit that was sold as complete, and is a real piece of lovely design...

I'll have to admit it's apparent fiddly ness did put me off starting until now but I'm not sure what I was worried about, when you take your time it goes together fairly easily with minor hand tools. So far I have got a working chassis when the motor is connected direct to a controller so next up is fitting some pickups. 

Mark has now designed some optional cabs so I am considering fitting the small open sided example, but next up we'll see how it performs once pickups are fitted! More soon...
