Quarry Hunslet in 009: spectacles...

I have been struggling to finish my Hunslet for a month or so because I wanted flush flat window spectacles...

Charley Insley and NGRM forum came to the rescue with a leather punch! I punched out some suitably sized spectacles from thin acetate type material and secured these on the model. The front pair are depicted open! I'm very happy with the impression - now I can fit a driver and some details and add a little weathering! More soon...
