Peckett in 009: ready for weathering...
My SRB Peckett is looking lovely and the full lining scheme is now finished...
This has been a real labour of love but the Fox N gauge lining transfers do make something like this a lot easier. It's now all set to dry because I have also fitted buffers and painted the details, and then I'll use dull-cote to seal it all before weathering.
I've since added open spectacle glazing using a leather punch to cut out some thin clear plastic, stuck in with PVA. Finally it will need a driver, so I must paint one of my usual Dapol work man figures up! I'm looking forward to seeing it in action on Creech Bottom in the future.
More soon...
