Dyfrdwry Tramway: no trains yet Autumn...
What I love about Garden Railways is how they evolve and give joy even without a locomotive in site...
The gentle autumnal light with long shadows picks out the scenic detail and the gentle undulating twisting trackbed... the gate and fencing, as well as the fuel facilities at the wharf live outside, and these small features make the railway feel 'real'.
The weather also has unintended effects, like the water pooled here, unfortunately the meniscus doesn't scale, but it's a lovely effect none the less...
With the winter approaching I'm hoping to manage a few battery operated trains over the next few months, but plenty of time for some projects including new rolling stock and some more scenic items! More soon...
