Tight Squeeze…

The most recent 08 (well, 09) off the bench and on to the layout is 09013…

Modelled in mid-90s condition she has a roof mounted aerial pod, that I scratch built in styrene as part of the work. When adding this I didn’t really think about the models height…

…but she wouldn’t fit through the mouse hole on Paxton Road! Some judicious work with a coarse file and the MDF box yielded enough clearance and now, she can go about some shunting on this most wonderful of cameo layouts. 

All this, proving once more that these things really do happen to us all.
