In Print: Model Railway Companion 3…
Last week the third instalment of my ‘occasional’ Model Railway Companion arrived at Wild Swan HQ from the printers, my own copy then arrived mid-week from Simon…
In all the madness of the last week or so with the gala at the weekend and prep ahead of Narrow Gauge South I realised I’ve not actually announced its arrival to you all! I filmed the usual ‘look through’ video, below, which gives you an idea of what to expect - a mix of model railways described in their creators own words, a focus on why not how, indulgently illustrated and beautifully crafted to be a ‘coffee table’ style book to enjoy relaxing with…
Priced at £14.50 (more pocket friendly than my other books), 80 pages, gloss card covers and stitched binding on quality art paper.

DeleteMorning James. My copy is arriving today! I'm at work till 8 tonight and can't wait to get my hands on it. Maybe with a cheeky half pint of cider... I'm not working tomorrow. Take care.
ReplyDeleteMy copy arrived from Simon a couple of days ago and Iike the two previous two in the series, is proving impossible to put down.
DeleteI myself am particularly drawn to ‘Holborn Yard’ as like its creator Dean Errington, I grew up in the industrial north east and sights, and sounds of clanking coal hoppers, evokes very positive memories of simpler times.
Congratulations to you James, on producing another beautiful book which provides motivation, inspiration and simple enjoyment for so many of us.
Thanks both

ReplyDeleteThank you for the support Andrew!
DeleteYou’re welcome. Looking forward to reading it. I’m trying to photograph my layout in a more artistic way rather than the big standard shots that you often see and it works as good inspiration for me too.
