I've been pondering the best way to represent the distinctive shape of the dome as I don't have access to a lathe. I've turned up a dome in plastic on my mini-drill...

I'm not 100% convinced this is entirely effective just yet, but as this boiler is only attached at the cab I can always replace it with a second one. That's an interesting point actually, as I need to build a second locomotive at some point anyway for No.2! So a short post this evening but it's showing progress in my eyes. More soon...
