Gmeinder 80PS next EuroNG kit...

This model will be the next kit in the EuroNG range, specialising in 'feldbahn' designs in 009...

It is a 4mm scale (1:76) model representing the Gmeinder BDM 80PS (80hp) diesel, 600-760mm gauge options, built in small numbers between the wars, I believe largely for the German military. The model is based upon a Minitrains LKM NS2 chassis.

It follows my usual design of a 3D printed core with etched overlays. The handrails are added from Eileen's Emporium short knobs and 0.4mm wire, the holes are pre-formed in the print. The front grill and buffers are additional parts that fit over the etched details.

The works plates and numbers shown here are not included, they were added to 'finish' the prototype model. I intend to add the Gmeinder front plate and side works plates to the etch before production.

This prototype is finished in satin dark green with red buffer beams and a black chassis, airbrushed and brush painted using Humbrol enamels.

These photos will also form part of the instructions, so I'm hoping that I can have this released within 4 weeks. More soon...
