Visiting another garden line...

It's been sometime since I popped along to my (nearly) neighbour's for a steam up, but with blue skies (albeit a fresh breeze) we had a great afternoon playing trains and catching up...

Whilst steam was raising the Alan Keen did a few circuits, chugging away and running nicely. I've recently fitted the Thermos flask in the cab using a magnet under the control desk, and a smaller one hidden in the base of the flask.

The Barclay got a run out too, seen here on Paul's lawn, with a gathering in the background...

There are a few tight spots, when running a 7/8ths locomotive, but other than the village stations now much is out of scale in a garden and Paul's line with a mix of gradients is good fun to drive. More sunny afternoons planned for the rest of the spring and summer. More soon...
