Kenny Hill reprise...
It was only December when Kenny Hill left the workshop but it now seems a lifetime ago. I always enjoy seeing photos of my creations in their new homes - and Jack was kind enough to share some of his with suitably Australian stock (and cars!) over the holidays...

Hi James
ReplyDeleteKenny Hill is a real testament to your skills and I imagine your customer is very pleased. It looks so authentic as a background to those distinctive NWSGR models.
I wish I know a bit more about the models, but I do know a number of the 73-class have been sold to the Queensland sugar industry and rebuilt /re-gauged to run on 610mm (two foot tracks)!!!. I saw and photographed several on a visit in 2008 and they are imposing machines.
Best wishes
Alan
Thanks Alan - I think I've got some photos on the Queensland systems you sent me some time ago, I must take a sort through and get them online.
DeleteI will remind myself what I sent a see if I can identify the ex 73 class
