Ribbons is a compendium of creative railway modelling. Articles from across the hobby from names you will be familiar with alongside modellers like yourself, each sharing their thoughts and reflections on their approach, their feeling behind this wonderful hobby.

I was asked what the difference between this and Companion was - and they do overlap - but whereas that is a coffee table style book filled with inspiring photos, I think Ribbons is closer to a magazine, or poetry pamphlet perhaps, a collection of inspiring writing - beautifully illustrated by the models or prototype that inspired…

    I have MR Companion 3 now on my return from Edinburgh and it cerainly lives up to your comments . There are some really inspiration articles in there

    An based on your pre-review on Ribbons 2 here today that is a publication I am looking forward to seeing and devouring ( if that is the right word)
