Its lack of a cameo box made photography a little more challenging but the water colour back scene was a triumph and the bridge a wonder in styrene scratch building. I still have a box of similar supports assembled for a project George Williamson and I developed but have failed to progress…

The models, sadly now all sold (bar the Class 101) were were an exercise in proving what was possible, to myself as much as anyone else. They set the standard for all that has followed. A Cambrian coast setting can’t be compressed into a Mosslanda and whilst I have a few plans that would fit on an IKEA shelf, it was the feeling of building something with a good friend and talented modeller that was the fuel of this project. It remains to be seen what comes of these parts, these memories, this desire to build in the future but until next time, more soon…
