Brigadelok in 009: dirty old thing...

The Brigadelok has had a coat of dirt, soot and hi-lights added by airbrush today...

As well as pulling together the modifications, spot repainting and previous weathering washes it has given the loco a lovely care worn patina. I used a cotton bud to gently buff up the panels between the rivets so it has a low sheen.

The finishing touches on the tank top need painting now, and a touch of powder on the chassis to add some shadow, and a little dry brushing of gun metal will finish it off. More soon...
