Onwards from Rimbey I have a strange memory of visiting a small town called Rimbey, and finding a museum dedicated to the International Harvester pick up! Dad loved this, and Rimbey also had an old CP caboose on display, yet, IIRC, the railway was long gone.

As we closed in on Calgary the scenery began to become more familiar and prairie elevators began to be spotted, showing the line of the railways that formed the life lines taking grain from farmers to the ports for export...
Heading further south we took a detour to Drumheller and the Dinosaur museum we visited as kids in 1989, so next week a look at some CN activity in that area. Until then, more soon...
