Artist and his art…

Two frames captured at the same moment. The same moment. The artist and the art, the painter and his muse…

A few days ago blog regular Joe commented how enjoyed my ‘story telling’ photographs and would love to see the process about how they were created.

This is it.

The magic uncovered, I use my aging iPhone SE2. It has the lens nearer the corner than the more modern versions. Here too, you can see how I enjoy to interact with Paxton Road, eye level, a darkened room without distraction. Sometimes a train moves, but it doesn’t have to…

More, looking at the artist photograph I like the contrast between dark and light and how my ‘work’ black sweatshirt allows us to focus on where my hands and face are… the rest of the room dark, without distraction. It feels a powerful image, it captures something of myself - something I’d not seen from this angle, I’m calm and considered here. I feel it, but had not seen it…

Until next time, more soon…
