Friday Update: Ten Ten Twenty-five…

Coming to you from Llanwrtyd as I enjoy a leisurely return from Cardiff via Swansea to pick up and tick off the scenic ‘Heart of Wales’…

Decorating successfully completed for my Mum, and two enjoyable train journeys (and quite the adventure coming down - more on that tomorrow) so less to share here…

Above, a snapshot of the evergreen Paxton Road with freshly finished repainted Farish 08 and modified Peco open wagon…

Whilst below the favour for blog regular Alan Sewell rests at Coalbridge Street - more on that very soon…

Meanwhile design work is well underway on the Ruston 30DL I’m building in 16mm. If this one works well, I may offer a batch of these in 2025 but will need to redesign the drive system.

I hope you’ve not missed the morning update! My apologies for the delay - I’ve been enjoying the view and adventure too much… somewhat more normal service to resume tomorrow. Until then - I’ll continue to enjoy this wonderful branchline. More soon…

  1. Hi James

Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip through Mid-Wales

Thanks for the favour of painting etc my S-4. It looks as as good on the banks of the Columbia as on Coalbridge Street

    Best regards
    Alan
