Ribbons: pre-orders now open...
Great news, as Ribbons is in the final stages of production I've been able to arrange UK printing (with Lavenham) and distribution via Light Railway Stores...
You're able to place an order ahead of production - this will help me with tracking and managing orders and invoices as well as gauging demand - i.e. whether I've got the print run about right, or it needs increasing. Steve at Light Railway Stores is a great and old friend and he has kindly offered to help in this manner - many of you will be familiar with LRS from when we did the Victory, as well as my kits over the years...
Whilst LRS can handle overseas orders it doesn't offer EU and US options at present - anyone in those countries who wants to buy a copy will need to contact me directly and I'll arrange payment manually nearer the time.
Thank you for all your support - please do let your friends know as well, and spread the word - and help make this small revolution a reality. Until next time, more soon...
UPDATE - Sunday 5th, 9am - nearly half the planned print run gone in two days! Thanks for all the support. If necessary we will increase the run to ensure we have some to sell once it arrives, if you’re not the sort who likes to put down money upfront.

ReplyDeleteEvery success with this and other projects
Best regards

Thanks Alan
DeleteThat cover reminds me of very early MRJ, but I think it was one of the ones I lost in a house move. And , of course, it was B&W
ReplyDeleteIt will be interesting to see what people make of it - and whether there is clamour for more... in its current form it covers its costs but I've not been able to pay contributors, let alone myself for the production time, so things need to grow in scale for it to move beyond a nice project to a new magazine.
DeleteHi James, i use the forms for French order but no answer at the time. I hope you have stock... See you !
ReplyDeleteI will be organising how these will work this week. I think we can post them from Light Railway Stores, I just need to work out how to invoice them.
