Breaking news: Ribbons second print-run…

I had high hopes for Ribbons, and convinced Steve to take a punt with the size of order - yet we sold out quicker than either of us hoped or imagined…


Great news if you missed out - we’ve ordered a second print run and have opened the pre-orders again, I expect this to be 2-3 weeks lead time but will keep everyone up to date via social media.

Thank you for the support and it’s wonderful to read such warm words and positive feedback on it from those who have received their copy. Until next time, more soon…

    Hi James

    Received my copy from the first print run today. It is all I expected and more and congratulations to you and your production team for a high quality production in all ways. The articles are thought provoking- something you don't often get in a railway magazine. I will be rereading many over the next weeks.
    I will also see if I can do anything which matches the articles for a second or subsequent issue

      Thanks Alan, for the thoughts, thanks and offer of contribution. It’s a challenging style of writing - to hold the facts and techniques back in favour of story telling and emotion. If you want to send an outline idea or draft you know where I am! As always thank you for the support.

      Thank you Kevin, I’ve seen a bit of the indecision, don’t worry. I hope you decide to keep the order, I think you’ll enjoy the magazine. They’re being printed now, due with Steve at Light Railway Stores next week.

    Having finally found time, on a train, to read it, my main impression is... about impressions and the interaction between words and images. I think many "enthusiasts" will be left totally bemused, but others might find a connection they need.
