Morning arrival…

It’s a slow day here in the workshop. Cold too, but above me the bench, on Lochdubh 37025 has arrived with the morning train from Inverness…

It isn’t long before the Skye bus arrives, to ferry passengers quite literally over the water to the island beyond…

…whilst those of us who are just here for the English Electric soundtrack count time until we can head back behind our large logo’d steed to the Highland capital.

A brief moment of reflection, before sitting down once more with tiny bits of plastic and metal and wondering if there is an easier way to earn a living! Until next time, more soon…

    1. Thank you Tom. It warms the heart, but sadly not the feet!

    1. I’m mentally exhausted at the moment so it’s a miracle I’m maintaining the blog at all… so even better when it is so wonderfully received.

All being well still going on Saturday. Will be there late morning I think. Need to check the train again to confirm.
