Ribbons - second issue available to pre-order…

I’m excited to share that the second issue of Ribbons is available to pre-order now, just £10 with UK delivery…

Expanded to 60 pages with no increase in cover price, this second issue continues where the previous left off, with a collection of thoughts and ideas explored through a series of essays from a chorus of voices.

A safe place to escape the digital monolith, tactile and grounding.

Contributors to this second issue are Steve Beadle, Jonathan Davidson, Matt Ellis, James Hilton, Hugh Hurley, Stephen Lawrence, Will Lloyd, Martyn Mullander, Steve Purves, Michael Scott, Alan Sewell and Oly Turner. I’m so humbled by the free and generous support of each contributor.

The issue is in the final stages of production and should be available in April (if not before).

The email distribution list found out about pre-orders yesterday and already I’ve sold 15% of the intended print run (which I hope is indication of support for this venture). Please do tell your friends about it, if you have the first and enjoyed it… if you haven’t done you can find a link to sign up to the newsletter on this page.

Overseas customers from outside the US or EU should use the main listing, where the Light Railway Stores website will add the correct postage. US and EU customers should use the listing linked at the bottom of that page.

Until next time, more soon…

  2. Hi James

Ordered mine yesterday. Looking forward to getting it in a month or two.

Congratulations on what, I am sure, will be a great issue. It should become a collectors piece as well as giving us inspiration!!

    Best regards
    Alan

    1. Thank you Alan - perhaps it will. We looked at doing a third run of the first issue but unless we think we can shift another 150 its not worth while - so we're aiming to get the order right, the first time with Issue 2.
