Re-generation…
Yesterday was pure magic. A wonderful day out at the Buxton exhibition where I met Michael (of Chandwell) in person after virtual conversation surrounding his contribution to the last Ribbons. We enjoyed looking at models for a few hours before escaping to the pub and having some energetic conversation…

| Sprinters rest at Buxton. What an end to my journey, my favourite unit, windows open, charging uphill to the spa town terminus. Magic! |
It’s the sort of day that goes beyond restorative benefits, I feel re-generated.
Meeting Michael, sharing and trading stories, ideas, energy I felt, for the first time for a long time that I’d found someone who gets what I do, how I do it and most importantly why I do too… Talking about this reminded me of what I can be proud of and what I still want to achieve. Things easily forgotten and sometimes difficult to rekindle.
Beyond that, I travelled by train - always a good experience for my well-being - and caught up with a few good friends, met some customers, blog followers and generally felt very fulfilled, mind that could have just been the pub afterwards…
If you’ve not come across Michael before I warmly recommend his YouTube channel, and his wonderful article in the second Ribbons.
Until next time, more soon…
What of the show? I’ll attach a few photos of things I enjoyed or that caught my eye, but if you want a full write up this isn’t it!
