On Video: Night Shift finale...

Night Shift was a concept album, sorry layout. The idea to try out a night setting, and a layout that could only be operated in the dark generated from a spark from the Inside Out project last Christmas...

Effectively a duplicate of Paxton Road, yet less flexible, I decided to move it on to a new home a few weeks ago and give me space for another Mosslanda based project (again in N, but you'll have to wait and see what it is)...

For now then this video is an overview of the project and an attempt to describe some of the novel features to those interested in recreating some of the ideas on their own models. I hope you also enjoy the little operating session - as if we're visiting the Tyneside freight depot in the early 1980s.

Night Shift, and Inside Out are both featured (along with all my other layouts) in the Layography - a handy way to navigate and find material relating to the myriad of different models here on the blog.
