Billard T100 in 009: chassis operational

This weekend I've fitted phosphor bronze pickups to my butchered Roco diesel chassis...

And success! Despite it's rather ramshackle appearance, it moves under it's own power and it's pretty smooth and controllable, although noisier in reverse! I've added a small pad at the front (worm end) that means it fits neatly in the Billard body.

Now I've got it moving, I will start detailing the body, and make a start on thinking about how to add some weight to the body to improve performance. It's running is as I hoped, not amazing, but smooth enough to take the role of diesel shunter for the sugar beet factory!
