Lyd2 in 009: printed details...

The Worsley Works Lyd2 has been languishing unfinished on my workbench for an absolute age... probably 12 months at least without any progress...

However a few weeks ago I drew up the headlights and bonnet fittings that had been holding me back and had these printed by Shapeways. They arrived at the end of last week and fitted perfectly. Here you can see the headlights fitted at the front, and the bonnet details (rad filler I guess at the front, and two air vents either side of the exhaust silencer). Next up is adding some more underframe detailing, filling and sanding smooth the buffer beams and fitting the handrails and door handles.
