Winter might well be cold, often damp and here in North Wales grey and miserable but it does give you the artist, the opportunity to study the form of nature…


Even though we often model trees with their leaves and foliage in place I find it helpful to study their naked form to understand the differences in their trunk and branch structure. More than that, they’re beautiful natural works of art, no two alike, and following their growth from earth to sky, tracing their own routes through this world can become a mindful activity in itself.
