Book launch - 10th May - more details...
In just under six weeks I’ll be launching my latest book ‘Small Layout Design - Construction’…
The event will be hosted by The Titfield Thunderbolt bookshop in Bath, on Saturday 10th May. Alongside meeting you all and signing copies I’ll be exhibiting a series of my own small layouts, some finished, others less so…
The current plan is to show:
- Paxton Road N
- Pont Dulas N
- Coalbridge Street HO
potentially some of the following:
- Wrecsam Canolog
- Lochdubh N
- Denton Road N
- Gerald Road N
with special guests:
- Leatown
- +1
When you write it all out like that I wonder if I’m sensible to consider it possible, but it feels an important part of launching a book on small layouts to be able to share some of my own. I hope many of you will be able to join us, collect a copy of the book and have a moment to say hello - for now, whilst my preparation continues, for you I just hope you can save the date. Until next time, more soon...
Support my work
I love writing and creating material for the blog. If you enjoy what you read and engage with I would be appreciative of any donation, large or small, to help me keep it advert and restriction free. Alternatively, feel free to buy me a coffee.
Hi James
ReplyDeleteGreat to see your new book is getting close to publication.
Sorry I won't be able to make Bath. It looks to be a good launch setting and having some of you layouts there will be a big bonus. I will certainly be ordering a copy. Any is idea when that will possible on the Wild Swan site?
Enjoying the progress ( and it is progress) on several projects- always food for thought even if my interests do not align every time
Best regards
Alan
Thanks Alan - I will let everyone know when it is available.
DeleteWell, it's on the calendar in the kitchen, so hopefully I won't forget/be required to do something else.
ReplyDeleteIt's also the same weekend as the Bentley MRG show, so I might be able to blend visits to both, and also pop in to see my sister and brother in law, who live in Calne.
Simon.
It will be great to see you Simon!
