Friday Update: Eighteen Four Twenty-five…

No need to brew up, it’s holiday week so not a lot to share today. Normal service resumes after the weekend, but let’s take a look at a few random events and reflections…

We’ve been down to Pembrokeshire to visit my Mum. A right mix of weather but wonderful sunshine and this beautiful coast melts all the wind and rain from my mind and instead my heart warms and I feel restored.

A kit was purchased from Porthmadog earlier in the week, assembled yesterday and hopefully finished a little more over the weekend. This is destined for Creech Barn - but that lovely little managers coach at Aberystwyth has given me ideas… perhaps some 009 kits to develop over the summer - both the Couillet and the coach would be great additions to the EuroNG range.

Creech Barn has been out entertaining my son (well me really), still not finished but nice to re-a-quaint myself with the smaller 009 models I own - and most either were, or are kits I’ve developed.

Finally, a reminder of the ‘coal’ layer of the N gauge stock box and a hint at this week’s distraction. More on that tomorrow, and to come as modelling projects grace the bench…

For many of you this is a long weekend, one perhaps with meaning, for others just a holiday. For me, no change… back to work on Monday and a few more days of entertaining the kids ahead of me. Until next time, more soon…
