Under the stage lighting it felt cold and clinical though. Just a simple wet on wet wash of my favourite Humbrol shades have softened and warmed the model, transformed, you might go as far to say - the result allows our imagination to take over…


Though we mostly think of it as a standard gauge modern railway, its scenes like this that remind us of the early years of the Barry & Merioneth Tramway that preceded today’s big blue…


Chris is a wonderful friend. We’re separated by an ocean but connected through our passion for creating model railways. The Claremont and Concord was an early muse in our journey, today it is still there, in the background making and keeping connections, you can see it here literally yet there too, in the approach and energy that created Coy, manifesting itself in a tea box engine shed with heartfelt character.
