What a difference a day makes - in this case we’ve gone from grey primer to shades of reality as the station and multi-storey car park come to life… I mentioned yesterday a desire to keep the restrained, almost neutral palette so as to allow the trains to take centre stage, have I succeeded? The ‘boring blue’ 31 feels very much at home amongst the grey and brown and even the blue 60s addition blends in to the same. Whilst very comfortable together these shades are modulated by sharing common colours and those I know already work together in this way, complementary not in art theory, but in their mundane base… So a lot of progress in a little time, I wonder if this new found focus is in part due to the efforts on Penpont Dries.
